Parlays |
A Horse racing Parlay works much like a sports parlay wager. In this type of wager you can choose from 2 to 12 horses in different races, they can be in different tracks and in different days. The races don't need to be consecutive. The mechanics are as follows: you pick the horses you want in the parlay, and from there on all the horses you have selected must win in order for you to collect on this wager, if one of your picks fails to get first place, the entire bet will be a loser. In the case that in one of the races there is a scratch, the parlay will revert to a lower number. For example, in a 5-parlay bet, if 1 is a scratch, the wager will revert to a 4 parlay; another scratch will mean that it will become a 3 parlay. If there is a 2 parlay and there is a scratch, then the bet will revert into a straight bet. Also, any race with less than 4 horses will be considered a scratch. |
