The Michigan native tried to come up victorious in his next fight against Rodolfo Vieira, but the latter was simply too strong, and in the process, submitting him via arm-triangle choke in the second round. He had a unanimous decision victory in his earlier stints in the independent circuit. Brundage has been knocked out two times, submitted once and lost by decision. Sedriques Dumas

Also known as “The Reaper,” Dumas (7-1, 0-1 UFC) has taken the souls of his first seven opponents, which include a one-round submission (guillotine choke) victory over Matej Penaz in Week 6 of the 2022 Dana White’s Contender Series. The wins caught the eye of the UFC and immediately was signed to a contract. However, in his first fight against Josh Fremd, Dumas was dominated by his foe and tapped out in the second round. It was the first and only setback of his career. The Pensacola, Florida native is now determined to secure the victory against Brundage and revitalize his UFC career. He needs to use his range and height as he has a two-inch height advantage over Brundage.

Dumas’ edge in range can be used in striking engagements as it could help him dictate the tempo of the fight. The American has stopped six of his opponents with four coming by way of knockout and two by submissions.
