Jinh Yu Frey is a 35-year-old women’s strawweight fighter that came all the way from Arlington Texas. She is five-foot-two and stables at the Genisis Jiu-Jitsu fight team. Her professional MMA record is at 9-4 with six victories through decisions. Just like Kay Hanse, Frey is also making her first appearance in the UFC cage. She also made her mark in Invicta FC but also fought in Rizin FF, Road FC and SCS. Frey had nine matches in Invicta FC and won nine of them. She is coming from a victory in her recent bout in Ashley Cummins in Invicta FC 39 as they headlined the match. Frey won through a unanimous decision in five rounds.
Kay Hansen is a very young 20-year-old women’s strawweight fighter that hails from Whittier, California. She stands at five-foot-three and trains at the Team Punishment fight club. She owns a 6-3 professional MMA record with three wins through submissions. Hansen will be making her UFC debut in this upcoming match against Jinh Yu Frey. Prior to earning a slot in the UFC roster, she made her name at Invicta FC where she won five of her eight matches. In her last two bouts, she created noise by winning both. The first one was in Invicta FC 37 when she won via guillotine choke submission in the third round against Nicolle Caliari. The most recent fight was just this March 2020 via unanimous decision over Liana Pirosin.
