The year’s UFC betting online action continues this weekend with UFC on ESPN +12. The night will be headlined by a featherweight bout between Renato Moicano and the Korean Zombie. The Korean Zombie is coming off a disappointing KO loss at the hands of Yair Rodriguez and will be looking to make a splash this Saturday. Likewise Moicano is coming off a tough loss at the hands of Jose Aldo and will be vying to get his hand raised this Saturday. So what kind of UFC sports betting action does this contest offer?

Surprisingly enough, this weekend’s event marks the first time that the UFC has made a trip to South Carolina. All in all, they’ve put together a pretty good card for their debut in the state. As is usually the case in the UFC, this card has undergone some changes and drop outs. However, they aren’t all that important so we won’t be covering them here.

Betting Korean Zombie
As aforementioned, the night will be headlined with a featherweight bout between these two veterans. The Korean Zombie enters as the more seasoned warriors since he has 19 professional fights to his name while Moicano has 16. Chan Sung Jung is coming off the previously mentioned loss to Yair Rodriguez at UFC Fight Night 139. This was back in November of 2018 in a card in which Sung Jung headlined as well. The loss came via an elbow that knocked Chan Sung Jung out in the final moments of the 5th round.
As can be see, it was quite the maneuver. Usually elbows come from similar angles but seeing one come from the 6-12 is quite impressive. Now the Korean Zombie looks to bounce back this weekend in a similarly breathtaking fashion.
Although Sung Jung has 8 submission victories to his name, he might want to avoid grappling against the Brazilian. After all, Moicano has 6 submission wins to his name and only 1 loss. But more importantly, the Brazilian has zero wins via knockout, which suggests that he isn’t as strong on his feet. Look for the South Korean to keep this fight standing and try to edge out a win with his striking, like what you can see below.
Betting Renato Moicano
Renato Moicano enters this weekend’s bout with a 13-2-1 professional record. However, he’s coming off a TKO loss to Jose Aldo at UFC Fight Night 144. There Jose Aldo asserted himself as the better Brazilian that night.
Now Moicano is looking to add some stock to his name by delivering a dominant win over Chan Sung Jung. As mobile betting players can see, Moicano enters as a decisive favorite in this contest. This is likely due to Moicano’s dominance on the ground. And although Moicano was bested by Brian Ortega on the ground, the Korean Zombie is no Brian Ortega.
