UFC Fight Night 218: Lewis vs Spivac 02/04/2023 Odds
Main Card
Derrick Lewis
With a 26-10-0 record, Derrick Lewis is a recognized UFC fighter. Known as “The Black Beast” on the right, Lewis has defeated several tough opponents with ease. Lewis is in full form but is coming into the octagon with a two-fight losing skid. He lost against Sergey Pavlovich and Tar Tuivasa. However, he seems to be in good physical shape.
Lewis has worked hard in the past few months and can almost qualify for the Light Heavyweight category. He has great cardio and endurance, but going up against a fighter who is almost a decade younger is not an easy challenge. Lewis will need to lean on his experience to stand up against Spivac to win this fight.
Serghei Spivac
Serghei Spivac will enter the octagon with a record of 15-3-0. Known as the “Polar Bear” in the ring, Spivac has a good win ratio and he is all set to prove himself against “The Black Beast”. However, he had a couple of rough spots, especially when looking at his success in 2022. Spivac won only two battles in 2022 and he has to get back on track.
Spivac defeated Augusto Sakai via knockout in the second round and took out Greg Hardy via knockout in the first round. Seven of his 15 fights were successful via technical decision, two via knockout, and seven via submission. Spivac fought nine fights under the UFC banner and managed to win six.
