UFC Fight Night 180: Ortega vs Korean Zombie 10/17/2020 – The Ultimate Fighting Championship is having another interesting fight card in the middle of the month with UFC Fight Night 180. This event is set to happen at “Fight Island” aka the Flash Forum, Yas Island located in Abu Dhabi, UAE. It will be another closed-door event with fans can catch the matches through Pay Per View and UFC Fight Pass. The main event will feature two top featherweights battling for the chance to challenge Alexander Volkanovski for the UFC Featherweight championship. It will be second-ranked Brian Ortega taking on fourth-ranked “Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung. This promises to be an exciting fight but UFC Odds expect that Brian Ortega is the underdog to Chan Sung Jung.

Main Card

Brian Ortega

Brian Ortega is a 29-year-old fighter and he came all the way from Torrance, California in the USA. He is known as “T-City” inside the MMA cage and this featherweight will be representing Black House and Black Belt Surfing fight teams. Ortega has an impressive 14-1 professional MMA record with half of these wins coming from the way of submission.  He has been in the UFC since July 2014 and has won six of the eight fights given to him. The other two are a loss and a no contest. His last match was against top contender Max Holloway in UFC 231 back in December 2018. In that match, Ortega reached the fourth round against his opponent until the doctors ruled a TKO heading to the last round.

Chan Sung Jung

Chan Sung Jung carries one of the most recognizable nicknames in the UFC with “The Korean Zombie”. He is a 33-year-old Korean fighter that came all the way from Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang in South Korea. Korean Zombie has been fighting in the featherweight division and he now owns a professional MMA record of 16-5. Half of those wins are from submissions and he also has six knockouts under his name. He has been in the UFC since March 2011 and heading to this fight, Korean Zombie is on back-to-back wins. His last match happened in December 2019 when he knocked out veteran fighter Frankie Edgar in the first round.
