Pantoja has been in the UFC since January 2017 and he won his first two fights in the organization against Eric Shelton and Neil Seery. Askar Askarov is a young 27-year-old flighter and his hometown is in Khasavyurt, Dagestan in Russia. Known as the “Bullet” inside the cage, he stands at five-foot-five and trains at the Fighting Eagle stable. He is undefeated with a record of 11-0 with seven wins by submission. Askarov took the Absolute Championship Akhmat by storm as he won all his seven bouts in the organization before punching his ticket to join the UFC roster. His first UFC fight was held in September 2019 and it resulted in a split draw between him and Brandon Moreno. He finally secured his first UFC victory in UFC 246 just this January 2020 by defeating Tim Elliot. Askarov pushed the match to a full three rounds and this time, all judges see him as the one who won the fight.
