Demian Maia is a 42-year-old veteran MMA fighter that hails from Santana de Parnaiba in San Paulo, Brazil. He stands at six-flat and he owns a fight gym in Demian Maia Jiu-Jitsu. His professional MMA record now stands at 28-9 and he is coming off from a three-fight winning streak. Maia has been in the UFC since 2007 and in that span, he had two title shots and that was against Anderson Silva back in April 2010 when he was still fighting in middleweight.

Gilbert Burns at 33 years old is at the prime of his career and this Brazilian fighter hails out of Niteroi in Rio de Janerio. His nickname in MMA is “Durinho” and he fights out of Hard Knocks 365. His current professional MMA record stands at 17-3 and in the UFC, he is 10-3. Burns came to the UFC in July 2014 as an undefeated fighter.
He got his first taste of defeat after his fourth bout in the organization against Rashid Magomedov. Along with that bout against Magomedov, he split his next six matches 3-3 and now, Burns is heading towards his next bout on a four-fight winning streak. He has vastly improved as he took down Oliver Aubin-Mercier, Mike Davis, Alexey Kunchenko and his last bout was against veteran Gunnar Nelson back inn September 2019 in UFC Fight Night 160.
