Curtis Blaydes is an American heavyweight fighter that hails from Nowhere, Oklahoma and fights out of Elevation Fight Team. He came to the UFC this 2016 and immediately got a rude welcome as he was paired up with Francis Ngannou. He went on to a five-match winning streak only to fall down again in the hands of Ngannou in 45 seconds of the first round. In 2019, he is trying to rise up again in the ranks as he defeated Justin Willis and Shamil Abdurakhimov.
He now carries 12-2 record at age 28 and looks to get a title shot against Stipe Miococ with a win over Junior Dos Santos. Blaydes earned the nickname “Razor” because the big blows that he gives to his opponents get them a huge cut. He usually finishes his bouts via KO or TKO and his recent fight ended in the second round via TKO.
Junior Dos Santos
Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior dos Santos is a Brazilian fighter that came from Cagador, Santa Catarina. He fights out of Champion Team, Nordeste Jiu-Jitsu and American Top Team. Dos Santos has more than a decade of experience fighting in the UFC as he started his MMA journey under the fight organization way back in 2008. He became a champion in November 2011 and held the title for 415 days. Junior is most remembered with his trilogy with Cain Velasquez.
His last bout was registered back on June 29 of 2019 and he lost to Francis Ngannou in the first round after a devastating punch. Dos Santos is the rank as the fourth top contender for the UFC Heavyweight Championship and a win over Blaydes will increase rank and maybe fight David Cormier or rematch with Ngrannou next. Like Blaydes, he is a knockout artist and finishes his fights early.

This should be a quick fight but according to Online Sports Betting, Blaydes will put Dos Santos to sleep. It would be a surprise if both fighters go to the judges’ decision for this bout since not much has been recorded that their fights went a mile. Dos Santos is 35 years old right now but his experience in the UFC will take a huge part in this match.
