UFC Fight Night 133 pleasantly surprised us as Junior Dos Santos reminded us all of what he’s capable of. Now, UFC betting online players are ready for this weekend’s action, UFC Fight Night 134: Shogun vs. Smith. The fight card features some pretty big names in the biz so there’s plenty to tune in for this weekend. With that in mind, let’s take a gander at the UFC Fight Night 134 betting action sports wagering players can get in on.

This weekend’s action will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout between former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua and fellow Light Heavyweight contender Anthony Smith. Since this bout will be held in Germany, players looking to learn how to bet on UFC events will be able to catch the action early in the day.
Shogun enters this weekend’s bout sporting a 25-10 professional record. On top of that, the Brazilian fighter enters on a 3-fight win streak. Currently ranked 8th in the UFC’s rankings, Shogun is hopeful a dominant win this weekend can get him in the Top-5. Even if that’s the case, it’s unlikely Rua will be able to challenge Cormier for the title. DC only has two fights left in his career and it’s clear one of those will be going to Brock Lesnar. Nevertheless, breaking the Top-5 would certainly thrust him into the conversation.
Anthony Smith comes into this bout flashing a 29-13 professional record. Although his 3-fight win streak was recently snapped by Thiago Santos at UFC Fight Night 125, his 1st round knockout of Rashad Evens at UFC 225 has caught the gaze of both the UFC and its fans. Although currently unranked in the promotion, pummeling a former champ would certainly get him in the Top-15. Surprisingly, this weekend’s UFC betting online odds are sticking with Smith over the former champ.

Another intriguing fight on the card is the co-headlining bout of the night. Another Light Heavyweight bout, albeit this one between Glover Teixeira and Corey Anderson. Teixeira is a veteran of the sport arguably most famous for getting his tooth knocked out by Anthony Johnson. Since that loss, Teixeira has bounced back by posting a 2-1 record in his last three fights. Coming off a TKO win over Misha Cirkunov, Teixeira is hoping he can climb back up the rankings.
Corey Anderson will be Teixeira’s opponent this weekend. Anderson brings a 10-4 record to the table but he doesn’t bring much momentum. All in all, Anderson is 2-3 in his last 5 fights. And with two of those losses coming via knockout, it’s clear he has some holes in his game. We’ll see if he can get them covered before this weekend’s action.
