Alexander Volkanovski

Alexander Volkanovski is known as “Alexander The Great” whenever he steps inside the cage and he came all the way from Windang, New South Wales in Australia. He represents both the Freestyle Fighting Gym and City Kickboxing stables. Volkanovski stands at five-foot-six and has been naturally fighting at the featherweight division. This fighter has only lost once in 23 professional bouts and half of those wins came from knockouts. After getting the championship against Max Holloway prior to the pandemic, both fighters had another rematch in UFC 251. Volkanovski won that match via split decision and this upcoming match will be his first title defense after challenging Holloway twice. 

Brian Ortega

Brian Ortega is a 30-year-old fighter and his hometown is located at Torrance, California in the United States. He has been managed by the Black House fighting stable and Black Belt Surfing Team. Ortega goes by the ring name “T-City” and this five-foot-nine featherweight has only lost once in 16 professional bouts. Those wins are divided into seven submissions, five decisions and three knockouts. This fighter came from a tough loss against Max Holloway in UFC 231 as he got knocked out in the fourth round. His most recent match was against Korean Zombie during UFC Fight Night 180 and that ended in a unanimous decision.
