Omar Morales is a 35-year-old veteran fighter and he came all the way from Caracas, Venezuela. Pearce is at the tail-end of his 20s and he has been more comfortable competing at the featherweight division. His professional fighting record is now at 10-4 and eight of those wins came from knockouts. After losing his debut fight against Joe Lauzon, Pearce made sure to come out as a better fighter in his next match. THat happened in UFC on ESPN 18 where he knocked out Kai Kamaka via second-round TKO.
