He currently has a 28-6 professional MMA record with 17 knockouts under his name. Aldo has entered the UFC in April 2011 with only one defeat in his record. In his debut, he was already the inaugural UFC featherweight champion and successfully defended the title seven times and disposed of the likes of Frankie Edgar, Chad Mendes, Ricardo Lamas and “The Korean Zombie. He lost the title to Conor McGregor in December 2015 and since then he lost four of his next seven fights. He is on a two-fight losing streak and his last registered match was in December 2019 against Marlon Moraes via split decision.
