This 32-year-old fighter hails from Dolton, Illinois of USA. Neil Magny stands at six-foot-three and fights out of Elevation Fight Team and fought in the welterweight division for his entire career. Magny owns a 21-7 record and he has been fighting in the UFC since August 2013. Early in his career, he had a hard time scoring a victory in the UFC as he lost back-to-back before going on a 7-fight winning streak before falling to Demian Maia in August 2015.
He went on again to win three-straight fights before losing once again to Lorenz Larkin a year after. Since then, he took down Jimmy Hendricks and lost to Rafael do Anjos in UFC 215. Over his past three fights, he won twice and he is coming off a loss against Santiago Ponzinbbio which sidelined him for a year and a half. This is his return fight but there are doubts that Magny is still in top condition.
Jingliang Li is a 31-year-old fighter that came out of Xinjiang, China. He fights out of China Top Team and this welterweight stands at six-feet. Li currently holds a professional fighting record of 17-5 and he is coming to this match with a three-fight winning streak. He came to the UFC in May 2014 and since then, he only tasted three defeats 12 fights. At once, Li was on a four-fight winning streak from 2016-2017. Li is a swiss-army knife of moves as he won five of his 17 wins in submissions while seven out of TKO. He was only submitted once in his five defeats and the rest came out of the judges’ scorecards. Knocking down Li seems impossible as no fighter has ever done that in his career.

Magny is coming in as a veteran fighter but Li has been more consistent for the past years in the UFC and that is why Online Sportsbook sees the Chinese fighter as the safer bet in this match. With his skills, Magny looks forward to putting this UFC match to the ground. Taking everything into consideration, it will be a chess match between both fighters from then on. This should go to the judges’ scorecards with Li winning the eye test.
