Main Card & UFC 224 Betting Odds
Amanda Nunes will be vying for her 3rd straight title defense. For those who don’t recall, Nunes won the Women’s Bantamweight belt back at UFC 200 when she submitted then champion Miesha Tate. Afterwards, Nunes defended her belt against Ronda Rousey, who clearly should not have been in the cage. And after that, Nunes won a decision bout over Valentina Shevchenko for her 2nd title defense. Although she walked out as champion, some, including Shevchenko herself, felt that Nunes had lost that fight. Since then, it seems that Nunes has been more concerned with getting a fight against Cyborg, who is undoubtedly Brazil’s biggest star. From what we’ve heard out of Dana White, Nunes can book that fight with a win over Pennington this online UFC betting weekend.
Raquel Pennington may not be the most famous fighter in the UFC, but she does represent a worthy advisory for the current champ. Pennington joined the UFC’s roster back in 2014 after winning The Ultimate Fighter. Since then, the American has posted a 5-2 record within the promotion. All in all, Pennington enters this bout with a professional record of 9-5. However, Pennington’s current 4-fight win streak makes her a clear-cut option for this weekend’s title fight.
Other names worth checking out on the Main Card are Kelvin Gastelum, who will be taking on Ronaldo Souza, and Lyoto Machida. Gastelum is looking to make a case for a title shot in the middleweight division. Although Gastelum is 1-1-1 in his last three, his loss came against a former champion and he was able to beat Bisping after he lost his belt to GSP. Machida is a former champ and will be taking on Vitor Belfort, giving Brazil a battle between two of their best.

The undercard will be headlined by a Middleweight bout between Cezar Ferreira and Karl Roberson. Ferreira enters this bout with a 12-6 MMA record. In addition, Ferreira is 4-1 in his last fights and will be looking to build up a win streak. On the other hand, Roberson enters this bout with an undefeated 6-0 record and will be looking to build his rep by taking out a veteran. Unquestionably, this is a great fight to prepare top sportsbook players for the Main Card.
