Online UFC Betting Prepares for Fight Night 119

Posted by: Charlie Smith

As the online UFC betting prepares for the riveting return of GSP, the world’s biggest promotion has thrown together a little Fight Night card to help pass the time for those who bet on MMA. There’s been enough trash talk between Bisping and GSP to have every MMA fan on the planet invested in UFC 217, and it’s likely that some of that hype will transfer into this weekend’s contest headlined by a middleweight bout between Derek Brunson and Lyoto Machida.

UFC Fight Night 119: Brunson vs. Machida – Sat., October 28th

When: Main Card: 10 pm ET || Prelims: 8 pm ET || Early Prelims:  7 pm ET

Where: Ginásio do Ibirapuera, Sao Paulo, Brazil

TV: Main Card: FS1 || Prelims: FS2 || Early Prelims: UFC Fight Pass

Stream: UFC TV

Derek Brunson is an up and coming talent within the middleweight division that has been fighting in the UFC since 2012. Throughout his journey, Brunson has faced some of the toughest online UFC betting opponents on the planet, including Yoel Romero, Robert Whittaker, and even Anderson Silva. Those 3 legends account for most of Brunson’s 5 losses, but the fighter out of Wilmington, North Carolina has acquired 17 wins thus far – proving that he is more than capable of competing at the highest level of MMA possible. Brunson last stepped into the cage to face Daniel Kelly at UFC Fight Night 110 and was able to win the bout via knockout in the 1st. Here’s hoping for an equally electrifying finish.

At 39-years of age, Machida has built himself quite a stellar reputation in the world of online UFC betting. With wins over Gegard Mousasi, Dan Henderson, and Randy Couture, there’s no questioning Machida’s resume. However, the Brazilian is coming into this fight riding a 2 bout losing streak. That includes a loss to Luke Rockhold, as well as a crushing defeat to Yoel Romero at UFC Fight Night 70. That was 2 years ago and we’ll have to see if the time has helped Machida or deteriorated his game. UFC sportsbooks are not predicting a favorable return for the Brazilian.
