Online UFC Betting Checks out UFC 213

While online UFC betting fans patiently await the world tour for the McGregor-Mayweather boxing match – which will indubitably deliver some thrilling action, UFC 213 will provide the perfect filler.

UFC 213 is the promotion’s next PPV event to be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada. The event has gone a bit of a facelift since its inception, but the fact that Amanda Nunes and Yoel Romero will be fighting is as good as reason as there is to purchase the event. No doubt players who bet on MMA will want to see how these enticing fights turn out.

UFC 213: Nunes vs. Shevchenko 2 – Saturday, July 8th

When: Early Prelims: 6:30 pm ET || Prelims: 8:00 pm ET || Main Card: 10 pm ET

Where: T-Mobile Arena

TV: DirecTV, AT&T, Verizon Fios, Comcast, Dish [ALL PPV]

Stream: UFC Fight Pass, UFC TV

The night was supposed to be headlined by a bout between current men’s bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt and former champion TJ Dillashaw. However, Garbrandt suffered a back injury in May and was forced to withdraw. Garbrandt won the title back at UFC 207 and this bout would have marked his first title defense.

Similarly, Dillashaw tried to get a fight scheduled against Demetrious Johnson, the current flyweight champion. However, Johnson did not want to face someone outside his division, claiming he had no guarantee the fighter would make weight. Johnson is on the cusp of breaking the UFC’s title defense record, and some – including Dana White, have criticized Johnson for not willing to fight anyone at anytime. After all, he is the No. 1 pound-for-pound ranked fighter in the world.

Nevertheless, despite the changes and drama surrounding UFC 213, this main card is lining up to unforgettable. Let’s see which fighters sports betting sites are siding with.

Main Card & Online UFC Betting Odds

Amanda Nunes 2½ (+110)    -105 vs. Valentina Shevchenko 2½ (-130)    -115

Yoel Romero 1½ (+165)        +110 vs. Robert Whittaker 1½ (-190)          -130

Daniel Omielanczuk 1½ (-160) +500 vs. Curtis Blaydes 1½ (+140)           -700

Fabricio Werdum 1½ (-170) +110 vs. Alistair Overeem 1½ (+150)           -130

Anthony Pettis 2½ (+145)     -235 vs. Jim Miller 2½ (-165)                        +195

Surprisingly enough, the odds like the challenger over the favorite. It’s a bombshell to say the least, considering how dominant Nunes has been in her last defend. Granted, Nunes was facing a defeated Rousey, but that still doesn’t take away from how fast Lioness finished the fight.

Of course, Nunes came out on top at UFC 196. The Brazilian won that bout via decision and has stated that she is looking for a finish this time around. Shevchenko enters this bout on a 2-fight winning streak after defeating Holm and Juliana Pena.

Even more surprising is the fact that Yoel Romero is pegged as an underdog against Robert Whittaker. Romero hasn’t lost a fight since 2011. He may be 40 years old, but he’s still one of the most dynamic fighters in the game.

Thiago Santos 1½ (+150)      -135 vs. Gerald Meerschaert 1½ (-170)       +115
