Fight Night 103 Undercard UFC Sportsbook OddsPosted by: Mike Davis
As the UFC betting community prepares to move on from Meryl Streep’s incredulous comments, we can all look forward to the next round of, as Streep would put it; senseless violence, inartistic effort, and less-than-stellar entertainment that is UFC Fight Night 103.
UFC Fight Night 103 is the UFC’s next upcoming event scheduled to take place on January 15th at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona – the home of the Thunderbird. We’ve already taken a look at the main card and the UFC sportsbook odds each fighter faces, so, with that in mind, let’s take a look at the undercard preview and odds available for those looking to bet on MMA.
MMA ODDS – FIGHT NIGHT 103 – UNDERCARD – Sunday, January 15th
Frankie Saenz 2½ (+150) -145 vs. Augusto Mendes 2½ (-170) +125
As is all too common with the undercard, the odds between each bout vary by a significant amount. Of the lot, the UFC betting odds are most heavily favoring Tony Martin in his match against Alex White, as well as Joachim Christensen in his fight against Bojan Mihajlovic.
Joachim Christensen is a 6’3” fighter out of Denmark who owns a 13-4 MMA record but is 0-1 in the UFC. Christensen’s has some decent MMA experience coming from ADW (Abu Dhabi Warriors), GMC and Superior. Christensen is coming off his most recent performance at UFC Fight Night 96 in which he lost via armbar in the second round to Luis Henrique da Silva. Regardless, UFC sportsbooks are still siding with the Dane.
Christensen will face Bojan Mihajlovic, a 36-year old fighter out of Serbia. Mihajlovic will be coming into this bout with a 10-4 MMA record but, just like Christensen, is 0-1 within the UFC. Mihajlovic is coming off his recent TKO loss in the first round against Francis Ngannou at UFC on Fox 20 and will be looking to prove the UFC betting lines wrong this upcoming weekend.
Tony Martin is a 27-year old fighter out of St. Cloud Minnesota. Martin owns a 10-3 MMA record that includes a 2-3 UFC record. Martin most recently competed at UFC on Fox 18 last January where he faced Felipe Olivieri and won in the third round via a rear-naked choke.
Alex White is a 28-year old combatant fighting out of Fredericktown, Missouri. White owns an 11-2 MMA record as well as a 2-2 UFC record. White last fought at UFC Fight Night 82 last February. Neither White nor Martin have competed in nearly over a year and it’ll be interesting to see if Martin can uphold UFC sportsbooks’ prediction this upcoming Sunday.
