Rafael dos Anjos

Rafael dos Anjos has been a staple name in MMA as a 37-year-old fight veteran that came all the way from Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. He has been representing both the RDA Academy and Nova Uniao. Dos Anjos stands at five-foot-eight and he was once the UFC lightweight champion in his prime. This fighter currently has a 30-13 professional MMA record and half of those wins came from decisions. After losing back-to-back matches against Leon Edwards and Michael Chiesa, Dos Anjos came back and showed he has more left in his tank by winning over Paul Felder in UFC Fight Night 182 through a tough split decision.

Renato Moicano

Renato Carneiro comes in as a last-minute replacement fighter or Rafael Fiziev. This fighter’s hometown is located in Brasilia, Federal District in Brazil and he is a five-foot-eleven lightweight fighter. Carneiro is already 32-years-old and he has been busy polishing his MMA skills at the American Top Team and First Fight Center. He comes to this bout having a 16-4 record and nine of those victories were earned through submissions. After losing to Rafael Fiziev back in December 2020, Carneiro bounced back by winning his last two matches. The first was against Jai Herbert and the more recent was with Alexander Hernandez in UFC 271 through a rear-naked choke submission.
