Dillashaw, he then earned the right to battle Marlon Moraes and won the bantamweight championship.
Dominick Cruz is a two-time bantamweight champion that came from San Diego, California. At 34-years-old, he stables at Alliance MMA and owns a 22-2 professional MMA record. He owns the nickname “The Dominator” and 14 of his 22 wins came from decisions. Cruz made his UFC debut in UFC 132 and renewed his rivalry with Urijah Faber which he won via unanimous decision. He was already given the UFC Bantamweight Championship upon entering the organization and vacated the title in January 2014. The former champion worked his way back to earn a title shot after defeating Takeya Mizugaki via first-round KO. Cruz then reclaimed the bantamweight championship after beating T.J Dillashaw in January 2016. After defending the title in a trilogy battle against Urijah Faber, he god defeated by Cody Garbrandt in UFC 2017. This fight against Cruz will be his first fight since December 2016.
