Breaking Down the Biggest Event in UFC History

The biggest event in the history of UFC betting is rapidly approaching. UFC 205 will be the promotional company’s debut in New York City and the UFC has made sure to make it extravagant. With more talent and more names on the fight card than ever before, there is no use denying the fact that this is the biggest event the UFC has ever thrown together. Period.
In fact, the UFC has scheduled so many big name fights for this card that it might have a hard time trying to follow up this historic night. UFC 205 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 12th. As aforementioned this will be the company’s New York debut and there’s really only once place that can do this fight card justice, and that’s Madison Square Garden. Interestingly enough, this will be the UFC’s first event to be held in New York since 1995. The state of New York had implemented a statewide ban on MMA and that ban had remained in place until early 2016. Of course an event of this magnitude will be PPV, so UFC betting fans looking to catch the results of the fight can do so by heading to their nearest sports bar or by forking over a couple bucks.
In the current state of the UFC there is one name that stands out above all others, Conor McGregor. Ever since McGregor entered the UFC he has been making a name for himself. Those who have followed the Irishman’s journey have been treated to one of the most dramatic rises to fame that we’ve seen in our generation. McGregor’s fighting skills and ability to wear out and agitate his opponents mentally have led some to compare the Irishman to Muhammad Ali. Ali will always go down in history as the greatest boxer to ever live, and if McGregor’s pace continues he’ll certainly go down as the greatest MMA fighter of all time.
Naturally, McGregor will be headlining UFC 205. His opponent? None other than UFC Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez. UFC betting fans should instantly recognize that name as Alvarez is one of the best in the world. Alvarez may not be as rambunctious as McGregor, but he is just as skilled. This is shaping up to be an extremely competitive bout and most MMA betting sites know it. Just take a look at the odds they’re throwing together for the headlining match.

Although Alvarez has an immense amount of talented, with a win McGregor will be poised to make history. Notorious is the current UFC Featherweight Champion and if he wins at UFC 205 he will be the owner of two belts across two weight classes, something that’s never been done before in the history of the UFC. There’s no sense beating around the bush, UFC 205 will be one for the record books.
