One of the biggest online soccer betting events of the year has reached the quarter-finals stage. The CONCACAF Gold Cup will begin its journey to the title match this week, giving online sportsbook players a chance to size up some of the teams that will be competing at next year’s World Cup. Let’s take a look at the teams that have made it this far before breaking down the quarterfinal matches.

Sportsbooks Look Over Group Stage Results

The CONCACAF Gold Cup consisted of 3 groups, made up of 4 countries each to bring the grand total of participants up to 12.

Group A consisted of Costa Rica, Canada, Honduras and French Guiana. The Ticos finished first in the Group with 2 wins and 1 draw. Canada took the second spot with a win and 2 draws and Honduras finished 3rd with a win, a draw and a lone loss. All three of the above mentioned teams were able to advance to the quarterfinals. French Guiana did not however, due to losing all three contests.

Group B featured the United States, Panama, Martinique and Nicaragua. The US came out on top in this group, thanks to their two wins and single draw. Panama posted the same online soccer betting record, tying them for first with the US and allowing both programs to advance. Martinique earned a win but suffered two losses and will be going home alongside Nicaragua – who went 0-3 in the Gold Cup,

Group C was made up of Mexico, Jamaica, El Salvador and Curacao. Mexico took the top spot with 2 wins and one draw and Jamaica clinched second with a win and 2 draws. El Salvador was also able to advance thanks to posting a win, a draw and a loss. Curacao suffered 3 losses.

The quarterfinals will begin this Wednesday. We’ve already taken a look at the first leg of the quarterfinals, so let’s size up the matches we will be witnessing this Thursday. Players who bet on sports can find the odds below as well.
