The three top teams in the English Premier League will see soccer betting action this weekend and Betnow.eu is following the action up close.
Chelsea vs. Everton
Date: Sunday, 30th April
Venue: Goodison Park
Sportsbook odds for fans who bet on soccer:
Chelsea -½ (+103) 2½ (-115) +103
Everton +½ (-123) 2½ (-105) +267
Chelsea/Everton Draw +258
The Blues bounced back from a 0-2 loss to Manchester United with a 4-2 routing of Southampton on Tuesday to distance themselves by seven points (at the time) at the top of the standings. Eden Hazard and Diego Costa returned to the starting eleven and were both instrumental in the victory, the former scoring his 15th goal this season – though man-of-the match honors went to Diego Costa, of course.
ForEverton has not lost in the previous four games and has two of the last three, but together with West Ham United they almost bored the crowd to death at London Stadium on Saturday. The Toffees recorded their first shot only at the 70th minute mark and had no shots on goal. While this is just their second scoreless effort in the last 17 games, Everton will have to do much better against Chelsea.
Arsenal vs. Tottenham Hotspur soccer betting preview
Date: Sunday, 30th April
Venue: White Hart Lane
Odds for fans who bet on soccer:
Arsenal +½ (-112) 3 (-114) +282
Tottenham -½ (-108) 3 (-106) -108
Arsenal/Tottenham Draw +285
The Gunners have won their last two straight games, including a 1-0 victory over EPL champeens Leicester City on Wednesday. The local fans were ready to settle for a disappointing scoreless draw when German defender Robert Huth decided he’d rather send the crowd home happy than have his team earn a point and scored an own goal with four minutes remaining in regulation.
The Spurs extended their winning streak to eight games with a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Wednesday – thus making Chelsea’s seven-point lead short lived and cutting it down to four. Tottenham has already improved their previous best ever EPL total of 72 points, and a win on Sunday would ensure they finish ahead of Arsenal in the standings for the first time since 1994-95.
Liverpool vs. Watford soccer betting preview
Date: Monday, 1st May
Venue: Vicarage Road
Odds for fans who bet on soccer:
Liverpool -1 (-108) 3 (+116) -180
Watford +1 (-112) 3 (-136) +500
Liverpool/Watford Draw +330
The Reds know how to hold on to the ball but seem to be at a loss as to what to do with it. Case in point, Liverpool was in possession of the spheroid 72% of the time but could only muster one shot on goal in over 90 minutes of their 1-2 loss to Crystal Palace on Sunday. Then again, the lone shot was Philippe Coutinho’s goal.
The Hornets faced a 10-man Hull City for most of the match but still fell 0-2 on Saturday, their second loss in the last three games. Watford has only earned five road points this season, but they’ll at least have home field advantage against Liverpool this Monday.
