With a brilliant sweep of the Los Angeles King in the 1st round of the NHL online betting playoffs, the league’s newest team has extended their historic run one step further. So, in the San Jose Sharks vs. Vegas Golden Knights series, everyone is dying to know how the Knights will fare. Let’s take a look at what kind of matchup the sports parlay odds are predicting for Game 1 of this series.
San Jose Sharks vs. Vegas Golden Knights – Thursday, April 26th

When: 10:00 pm ET

NHL Online Betting Odds:
San Jose Sharks
Although the NHL online betting odds aren’t favoring San Jose in Game 1, the Sharks are coming off a pretty impressive sweep themselves. Specifically, San Jose manhandled the Anaheim Ducks in 4-game. In fact, Game 4’s 2-1 finish was the closest Anaheim came to challenging the Sharks. In the other games of the series, we saw San Jose deliver 8-1 or 3-0 finishes. Now, heading into Las Vegas, the Sharks will be looking to make a statement right off the bat. If San Jose can upset the Golden Knights in Game 1 or 2, they’ll find themselves in a favorable position when the series heads to San Jose.
Players to Watch: Joe Pavelski (1 G, 4 A, 5 PTS), Logan Couture (2 G, 3 A, 5 PTS), and Evander Kane (3 G, 1 A, 4 PTS).
Vegas Golden Knights
The Golden Knights have to be ecstatic about their club’s performance in the 1st round of the playoffs. Facing the Los Angeles Kings, Vegas managed to go undefeated through 4 very tough games. The Kings came close to upsetting the Golden Knights several times, but Vegas showed grit and poise that is unheard of in an expansion team. Will Vegas make history by becoming the 1st expansion team to win the Stanley Cup in their inaugural season? It’s hard to tell. However, it looks like the odds are predicting they’ll at least get past the Sharks.
Players to Watch: Reilly Smith (0 G, 3 A, 3 PTS), William Karlsson (1 G, 1 A, 2 PTS), and James Neal (1 G, 1 A, 2 PTS).
