The online NHL betting playoffs continue this Monday night. With the start of the Stanley Cup Finals in sight, Monday offers one of the few opportunities players will have to wager on this year’s NHL postseason. Who will actually contend for the Stanley Cup is anybody’s guess, but isn’t that what makes sports betting as enticing at it is?

- Anaheim Ducks vs. Nashville Predators – Sportsbook Preview – Tuesday, May 16th
This past weekend’s action didn’t give us an answer as to who will get a shot at the title but rather, it made that question even more interesting than it already was. On Sunday, the Penguins were able to put on a show, winning 7-0 against the Ottawa Senators. Ottawa came into the series against Pittsburgh wielding an impressive at-home playoff streak. However, that streak came to a screeching (hopefully that alliteration is enough to put a smile on your face this Monday) halt in Game 4 of the NHL’s Eastern Conference Finals. Pittsburgh has taken the lead in the series 3-2, but somehow ruling out the Senators just doesn’t feel right. Luckily enough for online NHL betting fans, the league will take a break from the East to focus on Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals this Monday night.

Anaheim Ducks
The Ducks are facing elimination as they head into Game 6. Since the Ducks will be on the road, it makes sense for NHL betting sites to come out in favor of the Predators. However, so far in this series, neither team has been able to pick up back-to-back wins. Since Anaheim conceded a loss in Game 5, it stands to reason that they could come away with Game 6. Additionally, the home field advantage the Predators will be enjoying Monday night might not come into play. Throughout this series, both teams have suffered losses at home.
In Game 5, the Ducks lost by a total of 3-1. Accounting for those results, the overall goal tally of the series is 13-12 Nashville. Few things have gone in Anaheim’s favor in this series, but the Ducks are hoping Game 6 falls their way.
Nashville Predators
The Predators have made the playoffs the last three years consecutively and keep advancing each year. 2017 marks the furthest the franchise had made it in that tenure, and they now have an opportunity to make the Predators’ first Stanley Cup Appearance. Will Nashville be able to close out the series in Game 6 this Monday night?
