Fierce Hockey Betting Clash in Game 3

The Pittsburgh Penguins had dropped Game 1 of their Eastern Conference Finals series against the Ottawa Senators. Nevertheless, the reigning Stanley Cup Champions were able to jump right back into the mix of things by picking up a handy hockey betting online victory in Game 2. With the series tied at 1-1, the Penguins have a very real opportunity to win back-to-back titles. We’ll have to wait until Wednesday to see how the action turns out, but until then we can focus on Tuesday night’s contest between Anaheim and Nashville.

Tuesday night, the Ducks and Predators will have Game 3 of their Western Conference Finals. Like the Eastern Conference Finals, West’s series is currently tied at 1-1. The Predators were able to come away with Game 1 in dramatic fashion, beating the Ducks 3-2 in overtime. However, the Ducks put on a strong showing in Game 2 by defeating the Preds 5-3 in regulation. Game 3 promises to be just as unpredictable as the first two games of the series, despite the fact that the hockey betting online odds have decided to paint the Predators as the favorites.

Anaheim Ducks

2017 marks the fifth straight year that Anaheim has been able to qualify for the postseason, and the second year in the row that the Ducks have been able to make it to the Conference Finals. Last year, Anaheim was met with a disheartening end when the Edmonton Oilers sent them home after such a long season. It took the Oilers all 7 games to do it, and the end the Ducks were left exhausted and heartbroken.

The Ducks last won the Stanley Cup in 2007, after finishing first in the division and 2nd in the Conference. This season, Anaheim managed to finish first in the division but fell to 3rd in the conference.

Nashville Predators

Like the Ducks, the Predators are also sitting on a playoff appearance streak. Nashville has been able to qualify for the postseason for three straight years, but 2017 is the first time the club has been able to advance past the Second Round. The Predators will be looking to jump ahead in the series Monday night, and to never look back from there.

The Predators and Ducks faced each other three times during the regular season. Overall, the Ducks came out on top 2-1 throughout the three games. Tallying up all the goals throughout the three games, the Ducks outscored the Predators 10-9. The Predators will be looking for a more dominant performance this time around.
