Edmonton Oilers vs Nashville Predators 03/02/2020 –Leon Draisaitl became the first player this season to reach the 100-point mark in the NHL as he was responsible for all of Edmonton Oilers’ goals in last Saturday’s 3-2 win over Winnipeg. With 102 points and counting, Draisaitl will put the “special milestone” behind as he shifts on helping his team secure a spot for the playoffs. The task at hand is to hit the road to Tennessee and face the Nashville Predators on Monday where they can also complete a season series sweep. But it will not be a cakewalk, to say the least for the Oilers as they have to defy their underdog tag based on the NHL Odds which offer them at +115 to win. The Predators are home favorites at -135.

Edmonton Oilers vs Nashville Predators 03/02/2020 Betting Odds:
Historical data show that Draisaitl, who is just three points shy of his career-high in points, loves playing against the Predators. The 24-year-old chalked up five points in total in the Oilers’ last two victories over the Predators, who used to bully them in the past seasons where they were thrashed 14 times in their previous 15 encounters prior to this season. Goalie Mike Smith has been playing extremely well for Edmonton Oilers as he registered a 11-1-4 card over his last 16 starts after a lackluster month of December last year. He will have to hold his ground again, this time against Nashville, to help Edmonton chase Vegas atop the Pacific Division.
Players to watch: Leon Draisaitl (GP 65, G 39, A 63, PTS 102), Connor McDavid (GP 59, G 31, A 58, PTS 89), Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (GP 59, G 19, A 34, PTS 53).
The Predators are still picking up the pieces from a painful 3-2 loss served by Colorado on Saturday. It was just the third stain for Nashville in their last nine outings as the team still has a lot of catching up to do to get into the top three spots of the Central Division. The Predators will have to search for their old blueprint that has the steps on how to defeat the Oilers. The tools are certainly present, evinced by Viktor Arvidsson who scored for the second time in three games and tallied the 11th of his 15 total season goals at home, but Nashville needs to execute flawlessly against the Oilers’ defense to avoid getting swept.
Players to watch: Roman Josi (GP 64, G 15, A 45, PTS 60), Filip Forsberg (GP 58, G 18, A 25, PTS 43), Matt Duchene (GP 61, G 12, A 27, PTS 39).
