The Dallas Stars engaged the Vegas Golden Knights in a defensive battle and managed to shut them down in Game 1. They scored early in the game and at the 2:36 mark in the first period. It was John Klingberg that scored for them and he had help from Jamie Benn and Radek Faksa.
