Dallas Stars

The Dallas Stars have enough rest after eliminating the Boston Bruins in just five games. They will seek to take advantage of the fatigued Vegas Golden Knights in Game 1 but will also face a few rusts as well. Miro Heiskanen has been the best player for the Stars for this playoffs and filled in the slack of Tyler Seguin so far. He has 21 points and 16 assists in total. Much is expected from him to carry the team but he will get some help from Denis Gurianov and Jamie Benn. Joe Pavelski and John Klingberg have been fantastic as well in the playoffs providing 12 points each. Klingberg is also the second-best assist maker for the Stars with 10 in the playoffs.

Players to watch: M. Heiskanen D (G 5 A 16 PTS 21), D. Gurianov (G 8 A 7 PTS 15), J. Benn JW (G 5 A 8 PTS 13).

Vegas Golden Knights

The Vegas Golden Knights managed to escape the Philadelphia Flyers in seven games to earn the right to battle the Dallas Stars. It was a good wake up call for the team and they will be expecting much from Shea Theodore who leads the team in scoring and assists but Mark Stone is not far behind with him. Reilly Smith makes them form a strong triangle along with Teodore and Stone. The Golden Knights trio has been one of the toughest tandems to guard but they need more if they want to prevail over the stars. Expect darkhorse players like Alex Tuch and Jonathan Marchessault to come up big in this series and have their moments as well.

Players to Watch: S. Theodore D (G 6 A 10 PTS 16), M. Stone RW (G 6 A 9 PTS 15),  R. Smith RW (G 4 A 9 PTS 13).
