Arizona Coyotes vs Minnesota Wild 03/12/2021 Betting Odds:
The recent loss to the Avalanche was a tough pill to swallow for the Arizona Coyotes as it impeded them from taking a step forward in the tight race in the West. The first match against the Wild on Friday will be the third straight game away from home; they have split the first two having won against Colorado last Monday. Prior to the road trip, the Coyotes had faced the Wild at the Gila River Arena on two consecutive nights – Minnesota winning by a mile on the 5th and Arizona immediately bouncing back the night after. But before they turn their focus on the Wild, the Coyotes will have to review and address their lapses in the last game where they were outshot, 46-14. Goalie Antti Raanta kept them right at thick of things as he recorded 44 saves to tie his third-highest single-game save total over his eight-year career. But the veteran netminder could only do so much as his efforts still were not enough to rescue his team last timeout.
Players to watch: C. Garland RW (G 8, A 14, PTS 22), C. Keller RW (G 8, A 13, PTS 21), J. Chychrun D (G 7, A 12, PTS 19).
Just like Raanta, Minnesota’s own goalie, Kaapo Kähkönen, has also served notice with his own sensational showing for his club. Cam Talbot’s absence due to COVID-19 protocols seemed to be a blessing in disguise for the Wild as it allowed Kähkönen to display his repertoire. Over his last eight starts, the Finnish goaltender has been unblemished for an 8-0-0 card for Minnesota as his numbers improved to .922 save percentage and 2.19 goals against average over 15 games. With such jaw-dropping performances, it is likely that Kähkönen could get the starting nod on Friday, or perhaps for more games in the future. The Wild is definitely playing at a level it hopes it could sustain until the more crucial stages of the year. The team is on the verge of winning its eighth win in 11 home games, but more importantly, another victory could put them closer to seizing the top spot in the division.
Players to watch: K. Kaprizov LW (G 7, A 13, PTS 20), J. Greenway LW (G 5, A 14, PTS 19), M. Foligno LW (G 7, A 9, PTS 16).

Coyotes vs Wild Betting Picks
This will be a battle between two goalies who have been on a tear for their respective teams. With Antti Raanta and Kaapo Kähkönen set to bring their A-game once again, the defining factor of the match will be left on how the skaters from both sides will respond. Familiarity will play a huge role on Friday. With that said, stakers backing Minnesota should expect returns from their respective top gambling site as this will be a decisive win for the home team.
Score Prediction: Coyotes 2, Wild 5.
