Who Will be Winless No More this NFL Betting Weekend?

NFL betting online continues this weekend and there might not be a better weekend in the 2017 season to bet on AFC North rivals. This Sunday’s action will pit the defending NFC North champion Pittsburgh Steelers against the Baltimore Ravens. Both of those teams are coming off big upsets in Week 3 and there’s no question that there will be ample blood shed this Sunday. However, if that game doesn’t entice you, you can always tune into another NFC North rivalry between the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns. Let’s take a look at what online sportsbooks have to say about this matchup. Specifically, which team will earn its first win this Sunday?
Cincinnati Bengals vs. Cleveland Browns – Sunday, October 1st
When: 1:00 pm ET
Where: FirstEnergy Stadium, Cleveland
Stream: CBS Sports, NFL Game Pass
NFL Betting Online Odds:
Cincinnati Bengals -3 (-120) 40 (-105)
Cleveland Browns +3 (EV) 40 (-115)
The Bengals ride into this Week 4 matchup sporting their winless 0-3 record which ties Cincinnati with Cleveland for the title of the worst team in the AFC North. At the other side of the division are the Ravens and Steelers, who are currently tied for the lead in the division at 2-1 apiece. After this weekend’s action is wrapped up, fans can expect the AFC North to get a bit of a makeover.
The Bengals brought in a new offensive coordinator a week before their Week 3 matchup versus the Green Bay Packers. The moved ended up paying off as Cincinnati gave the Packers a run for their money and forced the game to go into overtime. The Bengals might not have come out on top but they were able to score their first touchdown of the season. Furthermore, Cincinnati was able to make the team that most NFL betting online players had picked to win the Super Bowl sweat a little into overtime.
Cincinnati could very well earn their first win of the season this weekend. The Bengals are pegged as favorites over their AFC North rivals, but being a betting favorite over Cleveland doesn’t account for much these days.
The Browns are hopeful that they can edge out their first win of the season this weekend. Cleveland has actually been competitive in their matches this season – something that could not have been said in years past. The Browns lost to the Steelers in Week 1 by just 3 points. The following week Cleveland suffered a more decisive 14-point deficit against the Baltimore Ravens. But despite losing, sports betting sites still felt that the Browns had displayed enough strength to merit favoritism in their next game versus the Indianapolis Colts.
In the end, the Browns ended up getting upset by the Colts 31-28. But the fact that they only lost by 3 points once again shows that this team is on the verge of winning. Cleveland could certainly use a win from their football team and DeShone Kizer might be the man to get it for them.
