NFL Week 7 betting Baltimore Ravens vs. Minnesota Vikings – Sunday, October 22nd

After picking up a massive online NFL betting win over the injured Green Bay Packers, the Minnesota Vikings are ready to hold off the NFC North. At 4-2, Minnesota currently leads the division but with the banged up Packers and Detroit Lions still on their tails, the Vikes will need a win this Sunday to maintain atop the North. Minnesota will be hosting the Baltimore Ravens this weekend, and it looks like NFL sportsbooks are predicting an easy win for Minnesota.

Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens fly into this Week 7 matchup sporting a 3-3 record that ranks them 2nd in the AFC North. Baltimore is coming off a 27-24 loss to the Chicago Bears that has thrown an already struggling franchise into further disarray. Joe Flacco, the man who was an instrumental part of the Ravens’ Super Bowl run a few years ago, has been struggling tremendously this season. Flacco comes into this weekend’s contest with twice as many interceptions as touchdowns; 4 touchdowns, 8 interceptions, 1,003 yards and a measly 66.1 passer rating to his name. Players betting NFL online will agree that those numbers are far from elite and the Ravens will need a better performance out of their quarterback if they are to upset Minnesota this Sunday. Unfortunately for Flacco, he’ll be going up against one of the toughest defenses in the NFL.

Even if the Ravens’ defense is able to hold off Minnesota, it’s more than unlikely that their offense will be running up the scoreboard. Baltimore is averaging a mere 19 points per game and with Flacco under center, wield the league’s penultimate passing offense. Needless to say, fans should trust the bookmakers on this one.

Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings make their way into this contest with a 4-2 record that, as previously mentioned, gives them the lead in the division. Minnesota is coming off a 23-10 win over the Green Bay Packers that probably would have ended a little differently had Aaron Rodgers not gone down to injury. Nevertheless, Minnesota came out on top and are now primed to win the NFC North. Granted, the Vikings will have to compete without quarterback Sam Bradford who is already listed as out for this Sunday’s contest. Minnesota doesn’t seem to have too much trouble winning without Bradford however.

Case Keenum will get another online NFL betting start in lieu of Bradford this Sunday. Keenum has been doing alright so far, as he has 5 touchdowns, 1 interception, 1,134 yards and a 93.1 passer rating so far this season. This Sunday, Keenum will have to contend against the NFL’s 5th best pass defense, so we’ll find out what he’s truly made out of this weekend. It should be noted that while the Ravens are great against the pass, they are 30th in the league against the run. Considering that Minnesota has the 12th best running game in the league, they shouldn’t have too much of a problem finding the end zone against the Ravens.
