Titans Host Colts for Online NFL Betting Showdown

This online NFL betting Monday night, the Tennessee Titans will be hosting the Indianapolis Colts to bring us Week 6’s rendition of MNF. It’s not the most illustrious matchup, considering that the Colts are struggling tremendously this season and the Titans seem to flip flop between a good and bad team week in and week out. Let’s see what NFL wagering sites are predicting will go down this Monday.
Indianapolis Colts vs. Tennessee Titans – Monday, October 16th

Where: LP Field, Nashville

Online NFL Betting Lines:
Colts +7 (-105) 48 (-110) +271
The Colts march into this Week 6 contest flashing a 2-3 record that ranks the franchise 2nd in the AFC South alongside both the Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans. Having 3 teams sharing the same record doesn’t shed a whole lot of light into the current situation in the AFC South. However, this Monday night game should help clarify some things. Indianapolis was able to pick up their second win of the season this past Sunday when they hosted the still winless San Francisco 49ers. The Niners gave it all they had but the Colts managed to hang on 26-23. If the Colts can manage to pull out a win over the Titans this Monday night, they might just become contenders in the division.
Granted, they’ll need the Jags to lose this Sunday’s match versus the Los Angeles Rams. If things were to fall in Indy’s favor, the timing couldn’t be more perfect. The Colts struggles are influenced largely by Andrew Luck’s injury, which has kept the face of the franchise out of the starting lineup for several weeks. If Luck comes back just in time to make a push in the division, we could be seeing the White and Blue in the playoffs come January.
As previously brought up, the Titans are also currently sitting on a 2-3 record. The Titans 3 losses of the season have come against the Oakland Raiders, Houston Texans and Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins’ loss was this past weekend and it was inarguably the worst one the Titans have suffered so far. Not because the scoreboard read 16-10 Miami when it was all said and done but rather because the Dolphins, with their current situation at quarterback, are a team the Titans should have beat handily. Instead, now we’re left wondering if the Titans are as good as we thought they were.
Specifically, online sportsbook players are wondering if Jay Cutler is actually better than Marcus Mariota. Cutler is currently sitting on 3 touchdowns, 3 interceptions, 706 yards and a 74.8 passer rating. For comparison, Mariota has 3 touchdowns, 3 interceptions, 792 yards and a 79.8 passer rating to his name. Those statistics are nearly identical but accounting for this past Sunday’s results, it’s impossible to not claim that Cutler is the better quarterback. With that in mind, online NFL betting fans might want to stick with the Titans on this one.
