Tennessee Titans

The Titans charge into this weekend’s matchup sporting a 3-4 record that ranks them as the 2nd best team in the AFC South. Right now the division is heralded by the 5-3 Houston Texans, who have begun momentum. Luckily for Tennessee, the Titans were able to pick up a win over Houston early in the season. If Tennessee is able to build up a win streak, they just might have a shot at winning the South this season. However, the online football betting odds don’t think the Titans have much of a shot against the Cowboys. Although Dallas looked impressive in their 40-7 blowout win over the Jags a few weeks ago, they didn’t look that great in their 20-17 loss to Washington this past weekend. Clearly, to beat the Cowboys, you just need to keep them from scoring too many points. If that’s the case, then the Titans should have a big chance of winning this matchup since they’re giving up just 18.1 per game.

Players to Watch: Marcus Mariota (1,030 passing yards, 3 TD, 5 INT), Dion Lewis (277 rushing yards, 1 TD, 1 F), and Corey Davis (395 receiving yards, 1 TD, 30 REC).

Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys ride into this Monday Night Football matchup sporting a 3-4 record that pegs them as the 3rd worst team in the NFC East. Right now the division is led by Washington, who is 5-2 this season. Although they just suffered a loss to the Redskins, all Dallas needs is a big rebound to have a legitimate shot at winning the division. Unfortunately, we haven’t seen anything out of Dallas to suggest that they can build on their momentum. We’ve seen glimpses of greatness but those glimpses don’t amount to anything since they’re so far apart. It’s interesting to see Dallas pegged as this big of a favorite considering the type of season they’re having.

Players to Watch: Dak Prescott (1,417 passing yards, 8 TD, 4 INT), Ezekiel Elliott (619 rushing yards, 3 TD, 2 F), and Cole Beasley (350 receiving yards, 2 TD, 33 REC).
