The Buccaneers were amassing quite a hype train through the first two weeks of the season. Led by veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick, Tampa Bay put on some of the most prolific offensive shows of the first two weeks of the season. However, that hype train got somewhat derailed this past Monday night by the Pittsburgh Steelers. So, the question now is, will they be able to bounce back in this NFL game betting weekend’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Chicago Bears matchup? Let’s check on the legal betting odds to get a better idea.

NFL Game Betting Odds:
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs swim into this weekend’s matchup flashing a 2-1 record. That record just happens to tie Tampa Bay alongside the Carolina Panthers for the lead in the NFC South. Technically the Saints also have a 2-1 record but have already lost to Tampa Bay this season. All in all the Bucs have been one of this year’s biggest surprises. Defensively we expected this much out of Tampa Bay, seeing as how they’re giving up over 30 points per game. However, we weren’t expecting their offense, led by veteran quarterback Fitzpatrick, to be the 3rd best scoring offense in pro football. Behind Fitzpatrick’s willingness to lob it down field, Mike Evans and DeSean Jackson have been a constant highlight reel for this season. Furthermore, the now dubbed ‘Fitzmagick’ earned himself an NFL record by putting up 3 consecutive games with over 400 passing yards to start an NFL season. Unfortunately Fitzpatrick now has to face the Bears defense – the 5th best overall defense in the NFL who happen to have the best defensive player in the league gunning for the quarterback. Without a doubt this is the Bucs’ biggest challenge of the season from an offensive perspective.
Players to Watch: Ryan Fitzpatrick (1,230 passing yards, 11 TD, 4 INT), Peyton Barber (124 rushing yards, 0 TD, 0 F), and Mike Evans (367 receiving yards, 3 TD, 23 REC).
The Bears failed to get the job done in Green Bay in Week 1 despite leading for most of the game. However, they have since bounced back by winning two consecutive games. And although their win over a weak Arizona team this past weekend wasn’t all that impressive, their 24-17 routing of the Seattle Seahawks certainly was. Chicago’s offense hasn’t been that impressive this season, seeing as how they rank 18th in scoring and 26th overall. However, they don’t need to be when they have Khalil Mack on defense. Ultimately it’s up to the Bears defense to win them this matchup come Sunday. If they falter and the Bucs get an early lead, there’s no way Trubisky is able to lead them to a comeback. Regardless of how weak that Tampa Bay defense may be.
Players to Watch: Mitchell Trubisky (591 passing yards, 2 TD, 3 INT), Jordan Howard (178 rushing yards, 1 TD, 0 F), and Allen Robinson (194 receiving yards, 0 TD, 17 REC).

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Chicago Bears Betting Picks
So which side should cell phone betting players take in this Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Chicago Bears matchup? All in all, this one is a bit of a tossup. Coming off a loss, Tampa Bay could really use a rebound to avoid losing ground in a tight NFC South. On the other hand, the Bears currently lead the North and will be looking to take advantage of a stuttering division. Considering their at home and have Mack, the Bears seem like the better option here. Sign up to make your online betting prediction today!
