Up next is Thursday night’s Denver Broncos vs. Indianapolis Colts matchup. Both teams have been eliminated from playoff contention, but at the very least the matchup lets players rack up some nice bonuses off of NFL parlay odds. What kind of action are NFL sportsbook putting together for this late-season matchup?

Indianapolis Colts +1 (-105) 41 (-115)
The Broncos ride into this Thursday night pairing with a disappointing 4-9 record that ranks the franchise last in the AFC West. Before the season began, most sportsbook players were picking the Broncos in the West. Everyone knew that Denver had quarterback problems, but most players felt it was something the team could overcome as a whole. Instead, we’ve seen Denver go through countless players at quarterback but to no avail. At this time, the Broncos’ offense ranks 25th in scoring, 22nd in total offense, 21st in passing and 19th on the ground. And ultimately, Denver’s crippled offense was too much for the rest of their team to cover for.
Despite having a poor offense, most NFL betting players would agree that Denver is the better team overall. Additionally, depending on what kind of action the money line offers, picking the Broncos on the spread isn’t a bad option. Denver hasn’t had much luck against the spread on the road seeing as their 0-6. However, with the spread set so low, you’re essentially just picking Denver to win the game. And if the money line is too steep, it’s unquestionably a decent alternative.
Like the Broncos, the Colts have had plenty of quarrels this season. At 3-10, Indianapolis’ record perfectly reflects the type of season the club has been having. The Colts weren’t exactly preseason favorites in the division, but once Andrew Luck went down with injury: everyone knew Indy’s season was over. In fact, seeing the Colts’ stumble to wins over the Browns, 49ers, and Texans was completely unexpected. However, seeing them pegged as betting underdogs this weekend in this Denver Broncos vs. Indianapolis Colts matchup is far from.
Keeping in mind the aforementioned numbers regarding Denver’s offense, the Broncos still manage to come into this matchup with the better offense. With Jacoby Brissett filling in, Indianapolis’ offense ranks 30th in scoring, 31st in total offense, 29th through the air and 20th in rushing. There aren’t too many teams whose offense fails to stack up to Denver’s, but some the Colts find themselves in that category. The money line hasn’t come out yet but players can expect it to heavily favor the Broncos over the Colts. Furthermore, considering that Indy comes into this matchup riding a 4-game losing streak, bettors should take Denver over the Colts this Thursday.
