Seattle Seahawks vs. Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears had high hopes for the 2018 online NFL betting season after snagging Khalil Mack right before the year began. And after seeing how Mack tore up Green Bay in the first half of their season opener, it’s safe to say all of Chicago was pretty excited. But in the second half of that season opener, Chicago decided to put the brakes on their defensive pressure. Ultimately, that was the decision that probably cost them the game. Nevertheless, they’ll be looking to make full use of him in this weekend’s Seattle Seahawks vs. Chicago Bears matchup. Let’s take a quick gander at what NFL legal betting sites have to say about this NFC contest.

Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks opened the season with a 27-24 loss to the Denver Broncos. It was a tough fought game but one that Seattle should have won. The biggest factor in their loss was Seattle’s defense, or apparent lack thereof. But even though the defense didn’t look that great, their offense looked rather elite. Granted, had Wilson not thrown those 2 interceptions, they might be sitting on a 1-0 record. It’s interesting to see Wilson throw those picks, given the drama that’s been unfolding in Seattle’s locker room. For the last couple years, members of their once elite defense voiced their frustration with what they perceived to be coddling on behalf of Pete Carroll. And while most of those outspoken players are gone, it’s clear Wilson’s still just s prone to throwing interceptions. The Bears gave up 410 total yards this past Sunday so we’ll have to wait and see how the Hawks fare this Sunday.

Players to Watch: Russell Wilson (298 passing yards, 3 TD, 2 INT), Chris Carson (51 rushing yards, 0 TD, 1 F), and Will Dissly (105 receiving yards, 1 TD, 3 REC).

Chicago Bears

The Bears pounce into this matchup sporting a weak 0-1 record. Nevertheless, there was plenty of things to get excited about in their debut. For starters, Khalil Mack. Mack was an absolute force to be reckoned with and we can expect this trend to keep pace all season long. Moreover, Trubisky didn’t look that bad. Later on in the game he wasn’t as sharp, but for the 1st half he was exactly what Chicago needed. Trubisky and the Bears’ offense will get a chance to shine this Sunday against a weak Seattle defense. We’ll have to see if they show up.

Players to Watch: Mitchell Trubisky (171 passing yards, 0 TD, 0 INT), Jordan Howard (82 rushing yards, 0 TD, 0 F), and Allen Robinson (61 receiving yards, 0 TD, 4 REC).
