The Arizona Cardinals were coming off a disappointing 8-8 season due to some untimely injuries. But with David Johnson all healed up heading into the 2018 NFL football betting season, and Sam Bradford working his way into the starting lineup, the Cardinals had high hopes for the upcoming year. Three weeks into the season and Arizona has yet to pick up a single victory. Clearly it’s time for a turnaround and the Cardinals believe Josh Rosen is the man to institute it. What kind of NFL sportsbook odds are Rosen & Co. facing in this weekend’s Seattle Seahawks vs. Arizona Cardinals matchup?

NFL Football Betting Odds:
The Seahawks fly into this weekend’s NFC West matchup sporting a 1-2 record that ranks them 2nd in the division. Right now the West is led by the 3-0 Los Angeles Rams, who are pegged as the best team in NFL football betting by many fans. This past weekend, Seattle was able to snap a 2-game losing streak by upsetting the Cowboys 24-13 at home. Now Seattle looks to pick up its first divisional win of the season against the struggling Cardinals. Considering that the Seahawks are 5-4-1 in their last 10 matchups against Arizona, it’s clear they’re going to have a tough time doing so. Especially when considering how poor this Seattle defense has looked this defense. Numbers wise they don’t look that terrible, since they’re giving up 21.3 per game. In fact, that’s better than the 24.7 that Arizona gives up per game. However, those who have watched them play know that Seattle’s defense is lacking. Fortunately for Seattle, they just happen to be going up against rookie Josh Rosen this weekend. Rosen has yet to throw a touchdown this season but has already thrown a pick. It’s safe to say that Seattle’s defense feels pretty good about this weekend’s action.
Players to Watch: Russell Wilson (716 passing yards, 7 TD, 3 INT), Chris Carson (177 rushing yards, 1 TD, 1 F), and Tyler Lockett (196 receiving yards, 3 TD, 12 REC).
The Cards fly into this matchup sporting a meager 0-3 record. All things considered, Arizona has had a rather tough schedule this season. They opened up the year by facing the Redskins at home, who happen to have a pretty terrific defense. The following week they faced the Los Angeles Rams, who are pegged as one of the best teams in the NFL, on the road and got blown out. Last weekend they hosted the Bears in a 16-14 losing effort. But since Chicago has the best defensive player in the league, that loss isn’t all that shocking. Unfortunately for Arizona, they bring absolutely no momentum into this weekend’s action. They may be playing at home but that hasn’t helped them out one bit this year. And considering they’re making the switch to Rosen this weekend, it doesn’t look like they’ll be getting the upset. Granted, there isn’t much tape out on Rosen. And from what we’ve seen this year, quarterbacks who don’t have a lot of tape out there tend to have success in their first outings.
Players to Watch: Josh Rosen (36 passing yards, 0 TD, 1 INT), David Johnson (116 rushing yards, 1 TD, 0 F), and Christian Kirk (121 receiving yards, 0 TD, 12 REC).
