NFL Week 11 Odds Baltimore Ravens vs. Green Bay Packers – Sunday, November 19th

Much to everyone’s surprise, the Green Bay Packers were able to pull out an online betting football win over the Chicago Bears this past weekend. The Bears opened as a 4-point favorite on the spread but came up short 16-23 to Brett Hundley and the Packers. It was surprising because most sports betting websites felt that Hundley, the man filling in for an injured Aaron Rodgers, would be incapable of leading Green Bay to a victory – even against a team like the Chicago Bears. But now that the NFL wagering community is aware of the fact that the Pack can pull out a win with Hundley under center, bettors might have something to say about the Packers chances against the Baltimore Ravens this Sunday. Let’s mulch over what NFL bookmakers are predicting for this Week 11 matchup.

Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens fly into this Sunday’s matchup with a 4-5 losing record that still manages to rank them 2nd in the AFC North. The reason being, that the North has been uncharacteristically uncompetitive this season. The Cleveland Browns haven’t been competitive in the division in over a decade but usually the Ravens or even the Cincinnati Bengals manages to give the Pittsburgh Steelers, the perennial favorites in the division, a run for their money. But this year, with the Bengals falling off the map and the Ravens struggling in every way possible, there is no one challenging the Steelers for the AFC North title. Even if the Ravens were to pick up a win against the Packers this Sunday, they would still be at .500, several games behind the 7-2 Steelers.

Green Bay Packers

The Packers march into this Week 11 contest with a 5-4 record that ranks them 2nd in the NFC North. Green Bay kicked off this year’s season by posting a 4-1 record through their first 5 games of the season, leading many NFL football betting fans to believe that the Pack had a very good chance of winning the NFC if not the Super Bowl. But those opinions quickly changed with an injury to starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Since Rodgers went out, Green Bay has posted a 1-3 record through 4 games. Many online football betting players felt that Rodgers’ injury exposed Green Bay, or exposed just how much the franchise had been relying on Rodgers. There’s no question that Rodgers is one of the greatest quarterbacks the league has ever seen. Without him, we can see just how bad the Packers are. This led many to believe that they wouldn’t win a single game without Rodgers.

But with last weekend’s contest in mind, it’s clear that Green Bay can. Sure, they performed pretty crappy without him. But you’ve got to give them a pass considering that the club got turned upside down. We’ll find out just how good Green Bay’s coaching staff is as the season progresses.
