Online NFL Betting on Preseason Games this Friday

Posted by: Anthony Yaylor

The NFL preseason continues, giving football betting sportsbook fans the perfect reason to fire up the wagering lines. The NFL preseason kicked off last Thursday, when the Cowboys and Cardinals faced off in the Hall of Fame game.

The online NFL betting preseason action continued this week with a flurry of contests on Thursday. We’ve already taken a look at those matchups, so let’s glaze over the pairings that the league has in store for fans this Friday.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New York Giants – Friday, August 11th

When: 7:00 pm ET

Where: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford

TV: NFL Game Pass

Stream: NFL Game Pass

Online NFL Betting Odds:

Pittsburgh Steelers +3 ½ (-110)        37 (-105)

New York Giants -3 ½ (-110)           37 (-115)

The Steelers take to the field with one purpose in mind: to prove to Le’Veon Bell that they can with without him. Bell is currently holding out from Pittsburgh, in order to try and squeeze as much money out of the organization as possible.

The Giants enter their second season under Ben McAdoo with the highest of hopes. New York made the playoffs last season in McAdoo’s first year in the helm, but was sent home immediately by the Green Bay Packers. This year, New York will be looking for a little different online NFL betting result.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Cincinnati Bengals – Friday, August 11th

When: 7:30 pm ET

Where: Paul Brown Stadium, Cincinnati

TV: Local Broadcasts

Stream: NFL Game Pass

Online NFL Betting Odds:

Tampa Bay Buccaneers +2 (-110)    37 (-110)

Cincinnati Bengals    -2 (-110)          37 (-110)

The odds seem to favor the Bengals but players who bet on NFL should feel differently. Last season, the Bengals skidded their way to a 6-9-1 record that obviously kept them out of the playoffs. On the other hand, the Bucs – who went 9-7, were right on the edge of qualifying for the postseason.

It’s only a slight difference between records, but all season long the Bucs seemed like the better team. Throw in the fact that the Bucs had 2 Pro Bowlers and three players voted All-Pros by the AP, compared to zero on behalf of Cincinnati, and it’s clear that football betting sportsbook players should go with the Bucs this Friday.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Kansas City Chiefs – Friday, August 11th

When: 9:00 pm ET

Where: Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City

TV: Local Broadcasts

Stream: NFL Game Pass

Online NFL Betting Odds:

San Francisco 49ers +4 (-115)          38 (-105)

Kansas City Chiefs -4 (-105)            38 (-115)

San Francisco is just happy to no longer have Colin Kaepernick on their team and to be able to finally focus on just football. However, they’re not going to win this game.

Kansas City finished 1st in the AFC West last season and although they got eliminated right away, they’re still light-years ahead of where the 49ers will be this Friday.  If you have a hard time believing this, check out the vid below.
