Online NFL Betting Prepare for NFC West Rivalry

There’s nothing quite like making an online NFL betting prediction on a rivalry game. Betting on sports is exciting enough to get your heart racing, but betting on a divisional rivalry adds an additional layer of intrigue to an online sportsbook bet. That’s why, this Sunday’s contest between the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals is one of this weekend’s most enticing sportsbook betting opportunities.

San Francisco 49ers
The Niners enter this game winless at 0-3. San Francisco has been all they can to put the Colin Kaepernick stain behind them but the best way to do that is by winning some games. Furthermore, the poor play from their quarterback, Brian Hoyer, has left many online NFL betting fans wondering why they even got rid of the Super Bowl quarterback that was Kaepernick. Sure, the franchise was looking to separate themselves from the controversy as much as possible. But that didn’t really gain San Fran much considering that now the whole league has become enveloped in the controversy.
After Trump made his pessimistic and border line fascist comments regarding how NFL owners should suppress their players’ rights to the 1st amendment, the entire league responded in unison. Basically, there isn’t a team in the nation that isn’t showing some sort of protest. Whether it be kneeling in unison or locking arms, the NFL has officially come together on this one. So, in hindsight, what did San Francisco gain by giving old Kap the boot? Absolutely nothing. Instead, they traded the man who led them to a Super Bowl a few years back for Hoyer; a non-controversial player that has more interceptions than touchdowns so far this season.
The 1-2 Cardinals enter this contest as the rightful online NFL betting favorites, vying to get their first home win of the season. Arizona is coming off a big time 28-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football. With their less than impressive record, the Cardinals tie with the Seattle Seahawks for the No. 2 spot in the AFC West.
If Arizona is looking for a dominant performance this Sunday, they’ll need to get it through the air. The Cardinals currently wield the league’s 4th best passing attack but on the ground the Cardinals are much weaker, ranking penultimate in rushing yards gained per game. It seems a bit ironic, that a team named after a bird would have trouble running the ball but has no issue taking to the air. The Cards are putting up an average of 18.7 points while allowing their opponents 25.3. On the flip side, the Niners are gaining 17.0 points themselves while allotting 25.3 to their opponent. This one might turn out to be better than we’re expecting. Or it could be a dull, low-scoring game.
