Oakland Raiders vs. Miami Dolphins NFL Sports Betting Outlook
Posted by: Charlie Smith
After they traded away their best defensive asset in Khalil Mack, NFL sports betting players were left looking at Oakland whimsically. After all, the organization was more than eager to pay Jon Gruden but couldn’t dish out a bit of cash for a defensive MVP candidate. What’s worse is the fact that the team is now sitting on a 0-2 record. Heading into this weekend’s Oakland Raiders vs. Miami Dolphins matchup, Gruden needs a win to justify the amount of money he’s getting. Considering how weak Oakland has been, what type of legal bets can be made off of this matchup?

NFL Football Betting Odds:
Two weeks into the season and the troubles are already piling up for Oakland. No one really expected them to win their opener against the Rams, despite the fact that they were playing at home. However, they certainly could have won this past weekend’s matchup against the Denver Broncos. And even though the final score of 20-19 makes it clear that the Raiders were competitive in the matchup, they’re still sitting at 0-2. Considering that the Chiefs haven’t broken a sweat on route to a 2-0 start, and it’s pretty clear Oakland has no shot at winning the division. Ultimately Gruden’s best bet is to rebuild this team, without one of the best defensive layers in the NFL. As for this weekend’s action, the numbers make it clear that Oakland will be on the losing end of things.
Players to Watch: Derek Carr (591 passing yards, 1 TD, 3 INT), Marshawn Lynch (106 rushing yards, 2 TD, 0 F), and Jared Cook (229 receiving yards, 0 TD, 13 REC).
The Dolphins swim into this weekend’s action sporting a stellar 2-0 record. Surprisingly, Miami currently leads the AFC East – thanks in big part to the upset the Jags’ got over New England this past Sunday. Currently leading the division, Miami will do all they can to build as big of a lead over the Pats as possible. Considering that the Patriots play their best ball in December, the Fins have a long way to go before clutching an AFC East title. Luckily, a 3-0 start is in the future for Miami. Since they’re currently averaging 23 ½ points while giving up 16, which should be good enough to beat Oakland. Especially when considering that the Raiders only gain 16 themselves per game while giving up 26 ½.
Players to Watch: Ryan Tannehill (398 passing yards, 4 TD, 2 INT), Kenyan Drake (101 rushing yards, 1 TD, 0 F), and Kenny Stills (123 receiving yards, 2 TD, 6 REC).
