NFL Betting Sportsbooks Size up Monday Night Football

The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Washington Redskins Monday night to determine who better represents Native Americans in the NFL. Last week, sports betting fans witnessed the Cardinals and Cowboys go toe to toe, with Dallas ultimately triumphing over their NFC West opponent 28-17. Considering the current atmosphere looming over the nation, NFL betting sportsbook players need this evening’s game to serve as a bit of a pick me up.

NFL Betting Sportsbook Line:

Washington Redskins

The Redskins enter this Week 4 matchup sporting a 2-1 record that ranks them 2nd in the NFC East behind the 3-1 Philadelphia Eagles. Washington enters this Monday night football matchup riding a 2-game win streak after picking up consecutive Ws over the Rams and the Raiders. Nevertheless, sports wagering sites are pegging the Redskins as massive underdogs against the Chiefs. Washington will have to contend on the road against a team that outclasses them drastically.

If Washington is to deliver an upset this evening, they’ll need their defense to lead the way. The Redskins currently rank 2nd against the run, 10th against the pass, and 3rd in total defense. However, they are giving up the 14th most points in the league. Versus one of the most consistent offenses in the NFL, the NFC East contenders will need an exemplary performance from their defensive unit.

The Chiefs are pretty capable on defense. Washington currently has the 13th highest scoring offense in the NFL and while they’ll be able to find the end zone this evening, they won’t be getting too comfy in there. The defense needs to step up if Washington is to outscore Kansas City.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs march into this Monday night contest flashing their seamless 3-0 record that ranks them as the best team in the AFC West. The Chiefs are coming off an important 24-10 over their AFC West rivals, the Los Angeles Chargers, to cement their dominance in the division. In addition to their outstanding repute in the AFC West, the Chiefs also look great on paper.

Kansas City rides into this contest wielding the league’s 3rd best scoring offense, as well as the 2nd best total offense and no. 1 running game in the NFL. A big part of the Chief’s success this season has been thanks to Kareem Hunt, the league leader in terms of fantasy points. Hunt has been unstoppable force through the first 3 weeks of the season, breaking big runs and catching passes out of the back field. The Redskins have been fairing fairly well against the run this season and it’ll be interesting to see how they fare against such a dominant back.
