New York Jets vs. New Orleans; Online NFL Betting Preview & Analysis
The New Orleans Saints, who have led the NFC South for most of the 2017 online NFL betting season, are dangerously close to losing their grasp on the division. At the present time, the Saints are tied with the 9-4 Carolina Panthers for the lead in the division. Granted, the Saints own two wins over Carolina this season. However, if the Saints were to suffer a losing streak to close out the season, they might just end up not winning the division. Drew Brees and the Saints suffered a 20-17 loss to the Atlanta Falcons this past Sunday, so they definitely need a rebound in Week 15. Luckily for New Orleans, they have the pleasure of facing the New York Jets this weekend. What kind of odds will top sportsbooks give the home team in this weekend’s New York Jets vs. New Orleans Saints matchup?

New York Jets
The Jets have crawled to a disappointing 5-8 record this season. It comes as no surprise to see the Jets being ranked dead last in the AFC East, since they sport such a meager record. Additionally, it comes as no surprise to see Tom Brady and the New England Patriots leading the division at 10-3. Unfortunately for New York, they don’t have much to compete for this weekend. Although technically the Jets have a mathematical chance of making the postseason, there isn’t an online NFL betting player in the nation who actually believes that.
The numbers certainly paint a bad picture for the Jets. New York is currently averaging 20.5 points offensively while the Saints are averaging 28.5 each weekend. Furthermore, the Jets are slightly worse than the Saints on defense as well. New York is giving up 23.9 points each game while the Saints are only allotting 20.2. While those numbers certainly favor the Saints, it’s still not enough to justify those massive sports parlay odds the Jets are facing. In fact, placing a small bet on NY straight up could proof to be quite favorable in this New York Jets vs. New Orleans Saints matchup.
New Orleans Saints
The Saints come marching in with a 9-4 record that, as aforementioned, ranks New Orleans 1st in the division. New Orleans has a pretty easy schedule ahead of them, considering that they’re facing the Jets this weekend and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 17. Nevertheless, New Orleans will have to face the Atlanta Falcons next week, a team that is undoubtedly making a push for the lead in the division. The Falcons actually beat the saints this past weekend, so Atlanta will have an opportunity to beat New Orleans twice in one month. If that were to happen, we might actually see Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons win back to back divisional titles.
