New York Giants

The Giants enter this Monday Night Football matchup sporting a weak 1-5 record that pegs them as the worst team in the NFC East. New York opened the season with back-to-back losses to the Jaguars and Cowboys. Although they were able to bounce back with a Week 3 win over the Houston Texans 27-22, New York would follow up that triumph with 3-straight losses to the Saints, Panthers and Eagles. Those are some tough matchups but New York wasn’t really competitive in any of them, except the Carolina game. Luckily, the Giants are going up against a team that is also struggling in 2018. Looking over the odds, it’s clear that NFL betting online bookmakers don’t think New York can get the job done on the road. This is likely due to how pitiful New York’s offense has been. Even though the Falcons aren’t winning too many games, their offense has a much more capable quarterback then Eli.

Players to Watch: Eli Manning (1,662 passing yards, 6 TD, 4 INT), Saquon Barkley (438 rushing yards, 4 TD, 0 F), and Odell Beckham Jr. (506 receiving yards, 1 TD, 45 REC).

Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons fly into this Week 7 contest sporting a 2-4 record that ranks them dead last in the NFC South. Matt Ryan & Co.’s two wins of the season have come against the Panthers and the Buccaneers, so they aren’t getting the best of the top dogs in the NFL. Fortunately they’re not pegged against a top dog in this MNF matchup. Looking over the numbers, it’s clear that Atlanta’s defense could end up costing them this game. Right now Atlanta is giving up over 300 passing yards per game as well as a whopping 32 points per matchup. The Giants don’t have the most consistent offense but they do have Beckham and Saquon. Those two studs could pose a problem for anybody and they’ll certainly be looking to give Atlanta a run for their money this weekend.

Players to Watch: Matt Ryan (1,956 passing yards, 14 TD, 2 INT), Tevin Coleman (260 rushing yards, 1 TD, 1 F), and Julio Jones (708 receiving yards, 0 TD, 44 REC).
