New Orleans Saints
The Saints turned in an 11-5 record this season that lead to a NFC South title. Instrumental to that divisional title was the two wins New Orleans enjoyed over the Panthers earlier this season. Furthermore, the Saints pretty good about their chances in the divisional round since they were tasked with facing Carolina once again. In the end, the Saints punched their ticket to the divisional round by defeating the Panthers for the third time this season, 31-26. However, that matchup ended up being far from a blowout. Will we see another contested game this Sunday? Or can we expect a lopsided betting on NFL result?
Looking over the NFL parlay odds, it’s clear that bookmakers are expecting a heated match. Nevertheless, NFL bookies are pretty confident that the Vikings will be the ones coming out on top. No doubt the Vikings’ top-rated defense is at the heart of that favoritism. Considering that Minnesota’s defense ranked No. 1 in points allowed, No. 1 in total defense, No. 2 against the pass and No. 2 against the run, it’s safe to assume that Minnesota has the makings to stuff the Saints this weekend.
The Vikings, who took out Aaron Rodgers earlier this season, capitalized on a Rodgers-less division by winning the NFC North. Minnesota posted a 13-3 record during the regular season, which was more than good enough to get the divisional title. Additionally, Minnesota got the pleasure of enjoying a Bye Week. And considering that the Vikings went 3-1 in their 4 games of the season, it’s safe to assume that they’ll be coming into this Sunday’s postseason game with a bit of momentum. So what NFL parlay odds should bettors take a jab at?
Considering how well these two match up against each other, fans can expect a very contested game this Sunday. With that in mind, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to put some action on the Saints’ upset line. Yea the Vikings are the better all-around team, but in games this close it comes down to the quarterback. And can you really feel confident taking Case Keenum over Drew Brees in this New Orleans Saints vs. Minnesota Vikings matchup?
