New England vs. Los Angeles Super Bowl Betting Preview & Picks![]() The 2019 Super Bowl betting speculation continues this week as sportsbooks rush to determine who will win this year’s New England vs. Los Angeles matchup. Unsurprisingly the odds are currently leaning towards New England, who have a ton of Super Bowl experience. However, the favoritism is small at best which would suggest that we’ve got one heck of a matchup on our hands. So what kind of turnout can we expect come Super Bowl Sunday? New England vs. Los Angeles – Sunday, February 3rdWhen: 6:30 pm ET Where: Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, Georgia TV: CBS Stream: CBS Sports, NFL Game Pass Super Bowl Betting Odds:
New England PatriotsThis is an interesting matchup for the Patriots, considering that they’re loathed dynasty began with a Super Bowl win over the Rams. Given this narrative, will the Rams be the ones to end New England’s dynasty? Well it’s safe to say that a good portion of the league’s fan base probably wants this. However, it’s also safe to say that it’s damn near impossible to beat the Patriots in the playoffs, let alone the Super Bowl. The two teams to have done so, the Giants and Eagles, had to go to tremendous lengths to do so. In the case of the Giants, Eli Manning had to make a once in a lifetime pass in both games to come out on top. In the case of the Eagles, Philly had to pull a crazy play out of the playbook to put themselves in a position to win. On top of that, their defense played an astounding game. And while the Rams have the talent to match up against New England, there’s no way they’ll keep the Pats from making plays. Ultimately it will be up to the Rams offense to outscore this unit, rather than their defense winning this matchup. At the end of the day Brady and his coaching staff have way too much experience to be shut down. Players to Watch: Tom Brady (691 passing yards, 2 TD, 2 INT), Sony Michel (242 rushing yards, 5 TD, 0 F), and Julian Edelman (247 receiving yards, 0 TD, 16 REC). Los Angeles RamsThe Rams fought their way into Super Bowl LIII by outscoring the high-powered Saints offense 26-10 from the second quarter on out. This unequivocally demonstrates that their defense packs some serious firepower. However, the Rams entry into this year’s NFL title game is undoubtedly marred by the uncalled pass interference flag that would’ve titled the scales in the Saints favor. If the refs aren’t there to bail the Rams defense out, will they be able to contain Brady? On top of that, Gurley, who was paramount to the Rams success all season, hasn’t looked like himself in the playoffs. One thing the Rams do have going for them is recent Super Bowl trends. In fact, the Super Bowl betting underdogs have won six out of the last 7 NFL title games. Will the Rams make it 7 out of 8? Players to Watch: Jared Goff (483 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT), CJ Anderson (167 rushing yards, 2 TD, 0 F), and Brandin Cooks (172 receiving yards, 0 TD, 11 REC).
