New England Patriots

Tom Brady has lost three Super Bowls in his career, with the third being his most recent defeat. But despite coming off  a Super Bowl loss, not too many football betting online pundits are questioning the veteran’s abilities to deliver at his age. Well, at least Max Kellerman of ESPN’s First Take is questioning Brady ahead of the 2018 season. But everyone else is expecting Brady to be in full swing as the season kicks off. All things considered, Brady is getting a tremendous amount of help from coach Bill Belichick. Belichick’s defenses are always ready to play, putting Brady in a position to win the game. On top of that, Belichick’s coaching staff prepares some of the best game plans in the NFL. In other words, the only reason Brady will be successful this season is because he has such a brilliant cast around him.

Players to Watch: Tom Brady (4,577 passing yards, 32 TD, 8 INT), James White (171 rushing yards, 0 TD, 0 F), and Rob Gronkowski (1,084 receiving yards, 8 TD, 69 REC).

New York Giants

The Giants had high hopes for the 2017 season, considering they were coming off an 11-5 record in 2016. However, certain organizational issues bloomed into massive problems as the season wore on for New York. First and foremost was the quarterback problem that saw Ben McAdoo bench Eli Manning. This was a massive problem considering that Manning was a major part of the effort that saw New York win two Super Bowls over the Patriots. McAdoo on the other hand, had done absolutely nothing apart from deliver one winning season. Clearly that decision didn’t sit too well with New York fans as they quickly got McAdoo fired. Pat Shurmur will now step in to fill the void and Manning will return under center.

Players to Watch: Eli Manning (3,468 passing yards, 19 TD, 13 INT), Wayne Gallman (476 rushing yards, 0 TD, 1 F), and Sterling Shepard (731 receiving yards, 2 TD, 59 REC).
