Miami Dolphins vs Pittsburgh Steelers 10/28/2019 – The Miami Dolphins (0-6) are diving against the heart of the Pittsburgh Steelers (2-4) in a bid to attain at least a single win before this season closes. People who are betting on the NFL have picked the Dolphins to be a whopping 16.5-point underdog. Small wonder, because their enemy has a 2-4-0 ATS, as compared to the Dolphins 0-6-0 ATS. This will be an interesting match to follow.

The Dolphins really tried to drown out the Buffalo Bills, but they fell short with a 31-21 endgame score. The team sputtered in the end, with defense and offense falling apart. QB Ryan Fitzpatrick still accomplished 23/35 at 282 air yards. He actually threw in 1 touchdown and 1 interception. Mark Walton carried the ball for 14 times but was touchdown-less. He helped the team cover 66 yards with an average of 4.7 yards per possession. Preston Williams capably caught the ball 6 times to contribute 82 yards. The Dolphins 24 first downs were marred by 6 penalties that took away 55 yards. There’s not much of a puzzle as to why the Dolphins lost. They accomplished 381 yards but surrendered 305 yards. They also allowed too many throws and rush attempts which brought the enemy increased chances of garnering points.
Not much can be said about the Miami Dolphins. They’d need a miracle to at least score a win with their cellar-level stats. This team is in need of a makeover.
Players to watch: Ryan Fitzpatrick (105 ATT 62 CMP 717 YDS 3 TD), Kenyan Drake (47 CAR 174 YDS 3.7 AVG 0 TD 22 REC 174 YDS 7.9 AVG), Mark Walton (30 CAR 137 YDS 4.6 AVG 0 TD), Preston Williams (23 REC 314 YDS 13.7 AVG 1 TDS), DeVante Parker (18 REC 284 YDS 15.8 AVG 3 TDS), Mike Gesicki (13 REC 143 YDS 11 AVG 0 TDS).
The Steelers finally added to their solo win. They were able to outsmart the Los Angeles with a 24-17 scoreboard. QB Devlin Hodges went 15/20 at 132 passing yards. He tossed a touchdown and a pick apiece for the match. Benny Snell Jr. did a long run at 20 yards but was touchdown-less until the end of the game. Nevertheless, he still clocked in 17 important possessions and contributed 78 yards gained. James Conner was the receiving leader, with 7 receptions pegged at 78 yards. The Stellers seem to be trying the rush. They rushed for 36 out of 56 plays, a dominant figure. The opposing team was unable to find its mojo as the defense clamped down with a 59% completion rate on throws. The Steelers mercifully allowed 384 yards versus their own gain of only 256 yards! Novice bettors would surely have left out this detail as to why the Steelers were able to sneak in a win. Their plays may not have much to crawl on in terms of yardage. However, they converted every yardage gain with secure points.
The Steelers have a decent scoring engine, and it looks like they’ve finally put this to good use. A little more defense would be nice, however, especially if they’re dreaming of an unexpected return to glory.
Players to watch: Mason Rudolph (94 ATT 63 CMP 646 YDS 7 TD), James Conner (74 CAR 235 YDS 3.2 AVG 3 TD), Benny Snell (23 CAR 105 YDS 4.6 AVG 0 TD), JuJu Smith-Schuster (25 REC 340 YDS 13.6 AVG 2 TDS), James Conner (26 REC 231 YDS 8.9 AVG 2 TDS), Diontae Johnson (20 REC 212 YDS 10.6 AVG 2 TDS), James Washington (9 REC 140 YDS 15.6 AVG 0 TDS).
