The 2018 NFL football betting season continues this weekend with a flurry of enticing matchups. With just a month of action left in the season, legal betting fans need to take advantage of the little time that’s left. The best way to do so is by wagering on this Sunday’s Los Angeles Rams vs. Detroit Lions matchup. The Rams are one of the most talented teams in the NFL and should be able to make short work of the ailing Lions. So, just how lopsided are the odds this Sunday?

NFL Football Betting Odds:
Los Angeles Rams
The Rams charge into this Sunday’s matchup sporting a 10-1 record that pegs them as the best team in the NFC West. Although the 6-5 Seahawks are on the Rams’ tail, it’s safe to say that Los Angeles has the division locked up. As for this weekend’s matchup, it’s hard to imagine Detroit’s offense keeping pace with the Rams. Right now the Lions are scoring 21.6 per game, which pales in comparison to the 35.4 that Los Angeles regularly delivers. Defensively things are a bit more even with the Rams giving up 25.6 to their opponents and Detroit conceding 26.0 in their contests. If this trend continues this Sunday, Detroit is surely bound for a blowout.
Players to Watch: Jared Goff (3,547 passing yards, 26 TD, 6 INT), Todd Gurley II (1,043 rushing yards, 13 TD, 0 F), and Brandin Cooks (964 receiving yards, 3 TD, 59 REC).
The Lions charge into this Sunday’s action flashing a 4-7 record that pegs them as the worst team in the NFC North. Clearly the acquisition of Matt Patricia has not panned out for Detroit. Which is pretty crappy for their fans, seeing as how Detroit flirted with playoff qualification last season. Moving forward, Detroit will have to figure out how they want to handle this situation. Patricia’s results leave a lot to be desired but they can’t just boot him after a season. It will be interesting to see how the defensive minded Patricia handles Los Angeles’ offense this weekend. Ultimately this might end up playing a hand in whether or not Detroit keeps him on board for long.
Players to Watch: Matthew Stafford (2,841 passing yards, 17 TD, 10 INT), Kerryon Johnson (641 rushing yards, 3 TD, 1 F), and Kenny Golladay (804 receiving yards, 5 TD, 52 REC).
